The Capital of Evil is the second album from the Italian sludge duo, who choose to perform incognito and refer to themselves simply as Unn 1 and 2. Their critically-acclaimed debut, The Year of Hate (L'Anno Dell'Odio) was well received by audiences all over Italy and mainland Europe, leaving many eager to hear where they would take their listeners next. The Capital of Evil does not disappoint. The release sees the pair combine their fondness for abrasive and noisy sounds with ambient moments of sadness. It will take you on a journey into the darkest depths. In the bands own words: "We need evil. We need evil too."

With vinyl and CD editions of the album coming out in Italy, Simula Records is really happy to be unleashing H&M on cassette for their very first UK release. We're hoping to get the pair over to Bristol later in the year to play a show for us.
